Job summary

Ocado Logistics is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager for the Bicester Customer Fulfilment Centre. You will lead and motivate a 24/7 operational team to maintain safety, engagement, and KPI delivery in a fast-paced environment.

You will use your management experience and IOSH-backed safety knowledge to drive training, investigations, and continuous improvement across WMS data and reporting tools, while coordinating across shifts and sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have previous management experience in a warehouse/logistics setting.
• Health & Safety knowledge and practical application.
• Strong verbal and written communication and numeracy with data interpretation.
• Experience in conducting disciplinary and grievance investigations.
• Familiarity with computerised WMS and reporting tools.
• Food safety compliance knowledge.
• Experience in 24/7 operations and shift patterns.
• Current MHE qualifications or experience with Mechanical Handling Equipment.
• Experience in continuous improvement environments and problem solving.
• IOSH accreditation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate teams to achieve safety, welfare and KPI targets.
• Promote a positive safety culture and conduct adverse event investigations.
• Manage people, coach, train, and address KPI metrics like turnover and absence.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards and drive performance improvements.
• Report on daily area KPI metrics and deliver pre-shift briefings.
• Undertake tiered management tasks when required.
• Work across 12-hour shifts in a 24/7 operation.
