Job summary

Ocado Logistics is hiring an Area Manager for the Bicester Customer Fulfilment Centre. You will lead, motivate and support an operational team to maintain health and safety standards, drive engagement, and ensure KPI delivery in a 24/7 environment.

The role involves a 4-on, 4-off shift pattern (12-hour shifts) with both day and night roles; you will coach staff, monitor labour turnover and absence, and report on area KPI metrics to drive continuous improvement and excellent employee experience.

As an Area Manager at the Bicester Customer Fulfilment Centre, you will be crucial in leading, motivating, and supporting your operational team to maintain exceptional health and safety standards, drive people engagement, and ensure the delivery of key performance indicators (KPIs) in a dynamic, 24/7 environment. This role exists to foster a culture of operational excellence, continuous improvement, and outstanding employee experience within your business unit. This position involves a 4-on, 4-off pattern of

Utilising your people management experience to maintain an exceptional employee experience, drive training/coaching, and address key people KPIs like labour turnover and absence %. Using your operational focus to contribute to performance improvement, maintain excellent housekeeping, and ensure adherence to food safety mechanisms.
