Job summary

Penguin Recruitment Ltd is representing an Architectural Technologist role in Guiseley. The candidate will produce detailed drawings and specifications using AutoCAD and Revit, and develop architectural designs from concept through to completion.

The role includes site visits to ensure technical compliance and collaboration with engineers and planning consultants to meet building codes and regulations. A degree in Architectural Technology and UK experience are required.

Duties for the role of Architectural Technologist:

• Produce detailed drawings and specifications using AutoCAD and Revit
• Develop architectural designs from concept through to completion
• Carry out site visits and surveys to ensure technical compliance
• Work alongside engineers and planning consultants to ensure projects comply with building codes and regulations
• Produce building regulation drawing specifications and planning applications

Requirements for the role of Architectural Technologist:

• Degree or diploma in Architectural Technology
• Relevant post qualification experience as an Architectural Technologist within a UK practice
• Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, or ArchiCAD
• Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and construction methods
• Experience working on projects within the residential and commercial sector
• Strong technical and presentation skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines and targets
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Live within a commutable distance to the Guiseley area
