Job summary

Bennett & Game Recruitment are representing a well-established multidisciplinary practice in Leeds city centre seeking an Architectural Technologist to support large-scale Education projects from concept to completion. Strong Revit skills, UK Building Regulations knowledge and an appetite for technical excellence are essential.

The role offers hybrid working, structured mentoring, and clear progression within a practice that values quality and sustainability.

Qualifications

  • Degree (BSc) in Architectural Technology or equivalent.
  • 2–5 years' post-graduation experience in a UK architectural practice.
  • Strong working knowledge of Revit and Microsoft Office.
  • Good understanding of the UK Planning process and Building Regulations.
  • Experience producing detailed technical packages across multiple RIBA stages.
  • NBS software experience would be advantageous.
  • MCIAT status or working towards Chartership would be advantageous.
  • Excellent written, verbal and graphical communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Produce, coordinate and review detailed technical drawing packages across all RIBA stages.
  • Support the technical delivery of large-scale Education projects from concept through to completion.
  • Develop detailed, compliant and buildable technical solutions in line with UK Building Regulations and industry best practice.
  • Produce and review comprehensive technical packages using Revit.
  • Work with Architects and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate design information.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants and contractors and attend design team meetings.
  • Assist in coordinating projects through planning, technical design and construction stages.
  • Manage workload across multiple live projects to meet deadlines, budgets and quality standards.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of technical standards and project delivery.
  • Research and develop innovative technical solutions to add value.

Job description

We are seeking a motivated Architectural Technologist to join a well-established, award-winning multidisciplinary practice based in Leeds City Centre. This is an excellent opportunity for an Architectural Technologist to develop their technical expertise within an AJ Top 100 practice, working on large-scale, complex projects with a strong emphasis on quality, innovation and sustainability.

You will be part of a collaborative technical team, supporting the delivery of projects from concept through to completion across the Education sector, with opportunities to contribute to Commercial and Residential developments. Projects typically range from £5m to £100m+ in value.

This role offers structured mentoring, continued professional development and clear progression opportunities within a practice that is committed to technical excellence, collaboration and delivering high-quality design solutions.

Requirements
