Job summary

Penguin Recruitment is seeking an experienced Architectural Technologist for a Birmingham studio. You will work with the project team on large-scale education, healthcare, industrial, and commercial projects, from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with UK building regulations and high technical detailing.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in Architectural Technology, is working towards or has CIAT membership, proficient in Revit, and can manage documentation and contracts with strong

Qualifications

• Relevant degree within Architectural Technology.
• Working towards or has achieved CIAT membership.
• Strong post-qualification experience as an Architectural Technologist in a UK practice.
• Proficient with Revit.
• Experience delivering large-scale projects across sectors.
• Solid knowledge of UK building regulations.
• Excellent technical detailing and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Living within commutable distance to Birmingham.
• Full UK Driver's licence.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside the project team and deliver large-scale projects from inception through to completion
• Prepare design stake risk assessments and detailed design information
• Produce documents for statutory approval authorities
• Administer contract and project certifications
