Job summary

Penguin Recruitment is seeking an Architectural Technologist for an established practice in Buckinghamshire. You will produce and coordinate detailed drawings from planning to construction, develop construction packages and ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations.

Collaboration with architects, clients and contractors is key to project delivery. The role requires a relevant Architectural Technology qualification, UK experience and strong AutoCAD skills.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Architectural Technology (or equivalent)
• Sufficient experience in a UK architectural practice
• Strong technical knowledge of building construction and detailing
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential
• Good knowledge of UK Building Regulations and planning policy
• Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities
• Proactive, organised and keen to develop technically and professionally

Responsibilities

• Produce and coordinate detailed technical drawings from planning through to construction
• Develop construction packages, technical details, schedules and specifications
• Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations, planning conditions and standards
• Collaborate with architects, consultants, contractors and clients to support delivery
• Assist with technical problem-solving across all RIBA stages
