Job summary

Architectural Technologist is needed in the Birmingham/Nottingham area for a growing, award-winning, employee-owned practice. You will coordinate technical information and lead project teams across RIBA stages, liaising with clients and regulatory authorities.

Hybrid working up to 50% from home, flexible hours, and a generous benefits package include private healthcare, pension and CPD support.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience as Architectural Technologist or related role
• Degree in Architectural Technology or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations and construction legislation
• Experience coordinating detailed technical information across RIBA stages
• Proficient in BIM tools such as Revit or ArchiCAD

Architectural Technologist - Birmingham / Nottingham

My client, an award-winning, employee-owned architectural practice, is looking for experienced Architectural Technologists to join their growing teams in Birmingham and Nottingham.

Working across a diverse portfolio including education, industrial/advanced manufacturing, residential and façade remediation, you'll take a key role in the technical delivery and coordination of projects across all RIBA stages.

Requirements

• Ideally 5+ years' industry experience as an Architectural Technologist, Technician or technically focused Architect
• Degree in Architectural Technology or equivalent
• Strong technical experience across multiple RIBA stages
• Good knowledge of UK Building Regulations and construction legislation
• Strong BIM capability - Revit or ArchiCAD
• Experience producing and coordinating detailed technical information
• Confident working with clients, consultants and multidisciplinary teams
• Experience from concept through to construction/site stages
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Education, industrial, residential or façade remediation experience advantageous
• ArchiCAD experience beneficial but not essential, with training available
