Architectural Technician - Planning

My Clients are an award-winning architectural practice, looking for a talented Architectural Technician to join their growing Planning team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious professional who is experienced within Masterplanning, Design layouts and technical planning documents for residential and mixed-use projects.

If you have 3 + years of experience within the UK residential sector, particularly in planning stages of projects for developer clients and regional housebuilders, and have experience working and delivering across the planning stages of large scale residential projects, this could be a great opportunity to progress your career with an established and reputable practice.

Responsibilities

• Interpret client briefs and produce detailed masterplans and technical documents.
• Ensure compliance with current building regulations and legislation.
• Work closely with the team to deliver residential, mixed-use developments and urban design projects from concept through to completion.
• Collaborate with developers and consultants, ensuring high technical standards are maintained across projects.

Essential Requirements

• 3+ years' experience in residential or mixed-use projects with experience for developer clients or national housebuilders.
• Strong technical understanding of building regulations.
• Proven experience delivering through residential planning.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD & Revit - Essential
• Knowledge of M4 (CAT 2 & 3) and NDSS regulations.
• Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
• A genuine desire for career progression and commitment to Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
