Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking a qualified Architect to support concept, planning and the technical design of construction projects across sectors, including development of the project design, production of presentation drawings and sketches.

The Architect leads specific aspects of the project and team, applies UK building regulations, and uses AutoCAD and Revit to produce 2D/3D drawings and design solutions.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in construction/architectural industry.
• Must be a qualified Architect.
• Working knowledge of UK building regulations and national standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.

Responsibilities

• Develops, modifies, and reviews drawings ensuring design intent is met.
• Develop project design concepts, modelling, sketches, reports, and construction documents.
• Lead design tasks, manage resources, and address project requirements.
• Collaborates with clients and consultants, presents ideas clearly.
• Prepare architectural documents, elevations, sections, and details.
