Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking an experienced Architectural Technologist for our Cardiff office. You will translate preliminary designs into buildable solutions, coordinating information across disciplines and acting as the first point of contact for the site delivery team.

You will lead design teams, coordinate with clients and contractors, and manage package procurement and programming in line with design deliverables. A willingness to obtain UK Security Check is required.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND in Architecture or BSc in Architectural Technology.
• Eligible for MCIAT or equivalent professional institution.
• Knowledge of Building Regulations and design guidance.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical design support that meets client requirements.
• Lead and manage project teams and liaise with Client and Contractor.
• Coordinate Design Teams and sub-contractors.
• Produce design deliverables and respond to technical queries.
• Support site delivery during construction and report progress monthly.
