Job summary

WSP Architecture in Scotland is seeking an Architect Design Manager to lead a major project from design through to delivery. You will oversee a dynamic design team, coordinating with clients and contractors to achieve national significance outcomes.

The role demands agile thinking, clear communication, and a focus on measurable project success. Reporting to the Regional Director for Scotland and a client line manager, you will contribute to a wider WSP consultant team, maintaining high standards

Qualifications

• Be a qualified Architect with post Chartership experience.
• Demonstrate design management skills across complex projects.
• Knowledge of Revit and BIM360 is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead a dynamic design team and deliver a significant project.
• Assist client and contractor teams in delivery of a major program.
• Coordinate design and technical delivery within a wider team.
• Communicate outcomes clearly and manage project objectives.
• Provide big-picture oversight while resolving detailed challenges.
• Travel as required and obtain UK security clearance (SC).
