Job summary

WSP is hiring a Project Architect to join our Architectural team in the UK. You will support concept, planning and technical design across sectors, leading aspects of projects and guiding junior team members to ensure design intent and quality.

You’ll develop design concepts, produce drawings and renderings, and coordinate with clients and consultants while adhering to UK Building Regulations and standards. Hybrid work and Chartership support are available.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the construction / architectural industry.
• Must be a qualified Architect.
• Understanding of UK Building Regulations and relevant technical design guidance and standards.
• Working capability and proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Proficiency in creating visualisations would be advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and review models and drawings ensuring design intent is met.
• Produce presentation drawings, sketches and construction documents including specifications.
• Lead aspects of the project and project team to deliver time and budget targets.
• Collaborate with clients and consultants, presenting ideas clearly.
• Prepare 2D/3D presentations, models and renderings.
• Incorporate sustainable design solutions into projects and ensure quality.
