Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking a CAD Manager to lead our CAD team on airfield, maritime and pavement projects for UK and overseas clients. You will manage 2D/3D CAD output, mentor technicians, and ensure delivery to high standards.

The role involves coordinating with civil engineers, progressing designs from feasibility to construction, and supervising CAD workflows across projects in a hybrid UK setting.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in civil design projects, airports/highways/pavement or maritime sectors.
• Proficient in 2D modelling and design coordination.
• Able to lead CAD technicians and ensure quality of drawings.

Responsibilities

• Lead CAD Technicians in producing 2D/3D drawings and models.
• Quality check outputs to CAD standards across the project lifecycle.
• Mentor and develop CAD team members and workflows.
• Collaborate with the design team from feasibility to construction.
