Job summary

WSP is seeking a Project Architect to join our growing Architectural team in the UK. You will support concept, planning and technical design across sectors, leading aspects of projects and collaborating with clients and consultants.

You will produce 2D/3D drawings, presentations, and construction documents, ensuring design intent and regulatory compliance. A strong emphasis on Integrated Sustainable Design and delivery excellence pervades the role.

Qualifications

• Technical design knowledge of UK construction methodology.
• Experience working autonomously and in a design team on Tender and Construction Stage works.
• Experience across industry sectors with demonstrable design delivery.
• Ability to communicate technical detail graphically to colleagues and clients.
• Experience of working in Common Data Environments (CDE).
• Must be able to obtain UK vetting level of Security Check (SC).

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and review models and drawings ensuring design intent is captured.
• Develop project design concepts, modelling, sketches, presentations, and construction documents including specifications.
• Work on multiple projects, exploring design solutions and meeting deadlines and budgets.
• Interact with clients and consultants, presenting ideas clearly and persuasively.
• Prepare, manage, and modify architectural documents and details following standards.
• Develop design solutions with attention to detail, efficiency and quality.
• Assist in developing project scope, plans, and services during the contract process.
• Prepare 2D and 3D presentations, models, drawings and renderings.
• Support materials selection and system research for projects.
• Incorporate Integrated Sustainable Design solutions throughout projects.
