Job summary

Capita plc, delivering apprenticeship programmes for HMS Collingwood, seeks a Programme Facilitator to coach, mentor and coordinate delivery for Royal Navy apprentices. The role involves working on-site, managing a caseload, and ensuring high-quality learning experiences from onboarding to EPA.

Must be eligible for UK security clearance and willing to travel to Scotland and Plymouth. The position is full-time (37.5 hours/week) with salary around £28,000 and permanent status.

Qualifications

• Industry experience in apprenticeships
• Strong organisational and administrative skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and workloads
• Confident communicator with the ability to build effective relationships with a range of stakeholders
• Good IT skills and experience using multiple systems to maintain accurate records and track activity
• Ability to travel to other sites (Scotland & Plymouth)

Responsibilities

• Managing a caseload of apprentices, supporting their progression and achievement throughout their apprenticeship journey.
• Delivering learner support activities including joining briefs, progress reviews, coaching, mentoring and intervention sessions.
• Helping apprentices prepare for Gateway and End Point Assessment (EPA), ensuring they are confident and ready to succeed.
• Monitoring learner progress, identifying those at risk of falling behind, and implementing tailored support and recovery plans.
• Coordinating apprenticeship activities and working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure programmes run effectively.
• Building strong relationships with Royal Navy personnel, training teams, awarding organisations and delivery partners.
• Maintaining accurate learner records and ensuring compliance with apprenticeship, funding and quality assurance requirements.
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance learner outcomes, programme performance and overall delivery quality.
