Job summary

Capita is seeking an Apprenticeship Assessor to support Royal Navy engineering apprentices at HMS Sultan. This full-time role (37.5 hours) will involve coordinating programme activities, monitoring progress and delivering high-quality apprenticeship support across multiple disciplines.

Due to the nature of the role, you must be eligible for UK Security Clearance (SC). You will travel to training establishments, ships and naval units, maintain records, deliver coaching and help apprentices

Qualifications

• Support engineering apprentices throughout their programme.
• Maintain learner records and apprenticeship documentation.
• Coordinate programme activities and monitor learner progress.
• Visit training establishments, ships and naval units to support workplace learning.
• Provide coaching and guidance to help apprentices stay on track.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering apprentices throughout their apprenticeship journey.
• Manage a caseload of apprentices and conduct regular progress reviews.
• Provide guidance, coaching and support to help apprentices stay on track.
• Maintain learner records and apprenticeship documentation.
• Identify learners who require additional support and help them achieve successful completion.
• Visit training establishments, ships and naval units to support apprentices in their workplace environment.

Skills

Level 2 English and Maths or equivalen

Good IT skills using Microsoft Office

Previous administration experience

Ability to multitask and prioritise
