Job summary

Yeovil College is seeking an Apprentice Workplace Reviewer for a part-time role (18.5 hours/week) year-round. The position focuses on supporting apprentices, building relationships with employers and college teams, and ensuring progression with safeguarding and wellbeing training provided.

The role includes regular workplace visits and a focus on minimising barriers to learning. The college emphasises a flexible, people-focused approach, with opportunities for professional development and staff

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting learners, apprentices or employers within education, training, or work-based learning.
  • Understanding of apprenticeships, progress monitoring, KPIs and safeguarding.
  • Excellent communication, organisation and IT skills, with the ability to motivate and engage others.
  • Flexible, proactive and adaptable approach, with the confidence to work independently.
  • GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above, or equivalent, and willingness to complete safeguarding and MHFA training.
  • Full UK driving licence, own vehicle and business insurance.

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with employers, assessors and College teams to keep apprentices engaged.
  • Champion progress and help apprentices reach their potential by supporting their journey.
  • Attend regular workplace visits and monitor progression and wellbeing throughout their apprenticeship journey.

This is a part-time role, 18.5 hours per week, working all year round, offering the flexibility to fit your work around your life.

Youll build relationships, champion progress and help apprentices reach their potential. Youll play an important role in helping apprentices overcome barriers, supporting their wellbeing, developmentand learningthroughout their journey. With regular workplace visits youll work closely with employers, assessors and College teams to keep apprentices engaged and progressing. Youll also receive Safeguarding and Mental Health First Aid training, giving you the skills and confidence to make a genuine difference. If youreorganised people-focusedand passionate about helping others succeed, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing team and play a key part in the success of our Apprenticeship provision.

What we’relooking for:
