Job summary

Yeovil College is seeking an Apprentice Workplace Reviewer to support learners and employers across apprenticeships. This part-time role (18.5 hours per week) involves regular workplace visits, building relationships, monitoring progress and helping apprentices overcome barriers while safeguarding welfare.

You will join a growing team, engage with college teams and assessors, and receive safeguarding and Mental Health First Aid training.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting learners, apprentices or employers within education, training or work-based learning.
  • Understanding of apprenticeships, progress monitoring, KPIs and safeguarding.
  • Excellent communication, organisation and IT skills, with the ability to motivate and engage others.
  • A flexible, proactive and adaptable approach, with the confidence to work independently.
  • GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above, or equivalent, and willingness to complete Safeguarding and Mental Health First Aid training.
  • A full UK driving licence, own vehicle and business insurance.

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with employers and learners during workplace visits.
  • Support apprentices to overcome barriers and monitor progress.
  • Collaborate with assessors and College teams to keep apprentices engaged.
  • Attend safeguarding and Mental Health First Aid training as required.

You’ll play an important role in helping apprentices overcome barriers, supporting their wellbeing, developmentand learningthroughout their journey. With regular workplace visits you’ll work closely with employers, assessors and College teams to keep apprentices engaged and progressing. You’ll also receive Safeguarding and Mental Health First Aid training, giving you the skills and confidence to make a genuine difference. What we're looking for:
