Job summary

Greene King in Ware offers an Apprenticeship as an Apprentice Team Leader with Urban Heritage. You will lead front-of-house teams, ensuring a warm, five-star experience and helping to run quizzes, music evenings, and community events.

Joined by Lifetime Training, you will gain on-the-job skills with work-based training, obtain English and maths Functional Skills, and receive regular feedback sessions. Working evenings and weekends, the programme lasts about 1 year with mentorship and career

Qualifications

• No college attendance required; work-based training with mentor support.
• Functional Skills in English and maths will be obtained with tailored support.
• Reviews every 12 weeks with Apprentice, Line Manager and Lifetime Learner Coach.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with a heartfelt and memorable experience each and every time they visit
• Deputise for the management team and resolve any issues that arise in their absence
• Help organise and coordinate the team during a busy shift, making sure everything runs like clockwork
• Make sure the bar is always safe, legal, and clean, and any issues are dealt with as quickly and safely as possible

As an Apprentice Team Leader with Urban Heritage, your motivational skills and passion for customer care make you the perfect person to lead our front of house teams. You'll ensure that each team member knows their stuff and can wow customers with a 5* experience. And it doesn't stop with food and drink! What your apprenticeship includes:

• You won't need to attend college; our apprenticeships are delivered through work-based training which includes a mixture of face-to-face sessions and remote Team calls with your Lifetime Learner Coach every 6-weeks. You will also have a mentor within the workplace to support you
• Obtain Functional Skills in English and maths, with support tailored to your needs (if you don't already have GCSE or equivalents)
• Reviews every 12-weeks with the Apprentice, Line Manager and Lifetime Learner Coach including feedback sessions
