Job summary

Greene King invites applications for an Apprentice Team Leader within its Hungry Horse venues. This 15-month Hospitality Supervisor Apprenticeship (Level 3) develops frontline leadership for front-of-house teams, blending in-house training with workshops and on-the-job coaching.

You will work evenings and weekends, helping deliver a 5-star guest experience while learning essential supervisory skills across a busy pub environment.

Responsibilities

• Making sure the bar is always safe, legal, and clean, and any issues are dealt with as quickly and safely as possible.

What You'll Do

As an Apprentice Team Leader with Hungry Horse, your motivational skills and passion for customer care make you the perfect person to lead our front of house teams. You'll ensure that each team member knows their stuff and can wow customers with a 5* experience. And it doesn't stop with food and drink! From quizzes to music evenings - your creativity and organisational skills can bring communities closer together.

As a Team Leader apprentice, you will...

What your apprenticeship includes:

• A mixture of face-to-face and skype/phone catch ups every 4 - 6 weeks to discuss feedback and progress
• A mixture of on and off-the-job training, including workshops and webinars
• Reviews every 12 weeks with your Line Manager and Apprenticeship Trainer
• The chance to get Functional Skills in English and maths (if you don't already have GCSEs)
• A Hospitality Team leader Apprenticeship Qualification once you have completed the 15-month programme

At Greene King, you'll be working towards your Hospitality Supervisor Apprenticeship - Food and Beverage Level 3 Apprenticeship qualification over the course of 12-18 months.
