Job summary

Globe (Marylebone) is recruiting an Apprentice Team Leader to mentor front‑of‑house teams and deliver a warm, five‑star customer experience in our historic pub. You will deputise for the management team and help coordinate the team during busy shifts.

This apprenticeship is delivered through work‑based training with Lifetime Training, including English and Maths Functional Skills, reviews every 12 weeks, and a 30–40 hour week over 1 year 5 months.

• Creative and organisational skills for events and busy shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with a heartfelt and memorable experience each and every time they visit
• Deputise for the management team and resolve any issues that arise in their absence
• Help organise and coordinate the team during a busy shift, making sure everything runs like clockwork
• Make sure the bar is always safe, legal, and clean, and any issues are dealt with as quickly and safely as possible

What You'll Do

As an Apprentice Team Leader with Urban Heritage, your motivational skills and passion for customer care make you the perfect person to lead our front of house teams. You'll ensure that each team member knows their stuff and can wow customers with a 5* experience. And it doesn't stop with food and drink! As an Apprentice Team Leader you will.

What your apprenticeship includes.

• You won't need to attend college, our apprenticeships are delivered through work-based training which includes a mixture of face-to-face sessions and remote Team calls with your Lifetime Learner Coach every 6 weeks. You will also have a mentor within the workplace to support you
• Obtain Functional Skills in English and Maths, with support tailored to your needs (if you don't already have GCSE or equivalents)
• Reviews every 12 weeks with the Apprentice, Line Manager and Lifetime Learner Coach including feedback sessions
