Greene King’s Hungry Horse pubs are offering an exciting Bar and Waiting Apprentice role. You’ll greet customers with a warm welcome, suggest drinks, and help ensure every guest leaves with a smile and a full belly.

This work-based apprenticeship includes mentoring at the workplace, Functional Skills in English and maths, reviews every 12 weeks, and training across one of the country’s top apprenticeship providers, with shifts mainly evenings and weekends.

• Provide customers with a heartfelt and memorable experience each and every time they visit.
• Be the insider behind the bar, offering recommendations to customers.
• Prepare and present drinks that meet specifications and customer expectations.

• Make sure the bar is always safe, legal, and clean, and any issues are dealt with as quickly and safely as possible.

As a Bar and Waiting Apprentice with Hungry Horse, you'll be the face of our company, making sure that every guest leaves with a smile on their face and a full belly. Whether it's greeting customers with a warm welcome or remembering that favourite spot they like to sit in, you know how to make them feel special.

As a Bar and Waiting Apprentice, you will...

What your apprenticeship includes:

- You won't need to attend college; our apprenticeships are delivered through work-based training which includes a mixture of face-to-face sessions and remote Team calls with your Lifetime Learner Coach every 6 weeks. You will also have a mentor within the workplace to support you.

- Obtain Functional Skills in English and maths, with support tailored to your needs (if you don't already have GCSE or equivalents).

- Reviews every 12 weeks with the Apprentice, Line Manager and Lifetime Learner Coach including feedback sessions.
