Job summary

The ITP is seeking an Apprentice First Line Technical Support in Earls Barton (NN6). The 13+ month Level 3 Information Communication Technician apprenticeship will give you hands-on experience in telecoms and technology, guiding and supporting you every step of the way.

The right candidate combines a friendly, customer-facing manner with strong communication and IT basics from a BTEC/A Level in IT or Computing, plus a genuine enthusiasm for technology.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and telephone manner for customer interactions.
• BTEC or A Level qualification in IT, Computing or related subject.
• Genuine interest in technology and curiosity about how things work.
• Willingness to learn; telecoms experience not required.

• Good organisation and attention to detail; follow processes and keep records.
• Full UK driving licence; travel to customer sites when required.
• Live within approximately 25 minutes' drive of Earls Barton.
