Job summary

Compass Group UK is seeking an Apprentice Chef in Grantham to join our team on a full-time basis, working 35 hours per week with rotating shifts. You will gain hands-on experience, learn from experienced chefs, and progress through the L2 Commis Chef qualification.

You must be 18+ and willing to undergo a DBS check. Upon completion, you will become a qualified Commis Chef and start a rewarding career in hospitality.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship role with hands-on training in a professional kitchen.
• Must be 18+ and willing to undergo a DBS check.
• Full-time position at 35 hours per week with rotating shifts.
• Experience in hospitality or customer service is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food promptly according to recipes and standards.
• Complete opening/closing duties and other tasks as assigned.
• Maintain clean, organised, and sanitized workstations and equipment.
• Monitor food temperatures and storage to ensure safety.
• Follow all food safety regulations and company procedures.
