Job summary

Compass Group UK is offering an Apprentice Commis Chef role at Southwick Park (PO17 6EJ). You will join a professional kitchen, gain hands-on experience, and learn from experienced chefs through a structured apprenticeship programme that supports your career in hospitality.

No prior experience is required as full training will be provided. On completion you will achieve the L2 Commis Chef qualification and become a qualified Commis Chef, with opportunities to progress within the company.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights our clients and customers.
• Representing Defence and maintaining a positive brand image.
• Monitoring inventories to keep our kitchens well-stocked.
• Overseeing kitchen cleaning responsibilities to maintain hygiene standards.
• Complying with Food Handling, Hygiene and Health and Safety regulations.
