Job summary

Hyra in Cambridge is seeking a motivated AP/AR Assistant to support day-to-day accounts payable and receivable processes within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role reports to the AP/AR Supervisor and involves processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and assisting with the transition to the IFS Cloud ERP system.

Based on-site with potential for hybrid working after an initial period, you will maintain strong supplier and customer relationships, ensure data accuracy, and support

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an AP, AR, or finance assistant role.
• Experience in a manufacturing or fast-paced environment.
• Experience with multi-currency transactions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP systems.
• AAT qualification (or studying towards) (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices and customer invoices accurately.
• Support multi-currency transactions and exchange rate application.
• Reconcile customer accounts and allocate payments.
• Prepare supplier payment runs.
• Assist with transition to IFS Cloud ERP.
• Maintain data accuracy and financial records.
• Liaise with suppliers/customers to resolve queries.
• Support procurement, finance, and operations.
