A local educational institution located in Thurnscoe is seeking an apprentice for Animal Care and Welfare Management. This role involves assisting instructors with the running of the animal unit, requiring a commitment to a 37-hour work week including weekends. The apprenticeship will last for 18 months, offering candidates an opportunity to excel in a hands-on environment and contribute to a supportive team dedicated to students' success.
We are a small, hands-on and extremely hard-working team, striving for excellence at all times and proving industry role models to the students at Dearne Valley College. The apprentice's main role will be to assist the animal care instructors and lecturers with the efficient and safe running of the animal unit.

Apprenticeship Level: Advanced
Working Week: You must be able to work 5 days out of 7 on a rota basis, 8.30am to 5.00pm with a 45-minute lunch break, and two 10-minute breaks totalling 37 hours a week. This is to include some weekend and bank holiday work where appropriate and required.
Expected Duration: 18 Months
