Job summary

ALS in the UK is seeking a motivated Analyst (Level 1) to support our sample analysis workflows. You will perform analyses to meet timescales and quality standards, interpret data, and contribute to KPI-driven service delivery.

This full-time, permanent role offers a starting salary of £25,878 with benefits including annual leave, sick pay, pension, and on-site parking; training and development opportunities are available to grow your scientific career.

Qualifications

  • Degree or equivalent in a scientific subject.
  • Ideally, some laboratory experience.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • The ability to deliver instructional training and work effectively in a team.
  • Good communication and excellent IT skills.

Responsibilities

  • Complete sample analysis to required timescales and quality standards.
  • Ensure samples meet compliance with our quality management system.
  • Handle more complex analytical techniques with confidence.
  • Interpret and report analytical data effectively.
  • Maintain daily service delivery in line with company KPIs.
