Job summary

ALS in Chatteris is seeking Laboratory Technicians to join our team. You will perform analyses on food and environmental samples, following validated methods and maintaining strict quality standards.

The role involves daily QC checks, equipment calibrations, and meticulous record-keeping in a high-throughput lab environment. It requires accuracy, teamwork, and adherence to health and safety procedures. On-site, full-time permanent position.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a high throughput working environment.
  • Good IT skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Be able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Perform analysis allocated in accordance with documented methodology.
  • Follow all processes and procedures to maximise role efficiency.
  • Conduct daily quality control checks and calibrations of equipment.
  • Ensure your workstation is always clean and tidy.
  • To conform with all site Quality Management systems and Health and safety procedures and protocols.
  • Keep accurate records.
