Job summary

ALS is seeking an Analyst (Level 1) to join our scientific team in the United Kingdom. You will complete sample analysis to timescales and quality standards, interpret data, and report findings to support operations.

Ideal candidates will hold a degree in a scientific subject, have good IT skills, and be able to work well in a team, delivering training where needed while upholding quality and safety standards.

About the Position

Hours Per Week: 37

Days Per Week: Monday - Friday

Contract: Full Time & Permanent

Salary: £25,878

The day to day

• Complete sample analysis to required timescales and quality standards.
• Ensure samples meet compliance with our quality management system.
• Handle more complex analytical techniques with confidence.
• Interpret and report analytical data effectively.
• Maintain daily service delivery in line with company KPIs.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient sample workflows.

The Essentials

• Degree or equivalent in a scientific subject.
• Ideally, some laboratory experience.

• The ability to deliver instructional training and work effectively in a team.
• Good communication and excellent IT skills.
