Job summary

JG Foods t/a Grape Tree Limited is seeking a Retail Store Manager for our Wilmslow store. The role is 35 hours per week, reporting to the Retail Operations Manager.

You will ensure excellent customer service, maintain stock levels, supervise staff, and uphold high standards of cleanliness and safety. You will be a hands-on manager, comfortable handling till operations, pricing, and promotions, and flexible to work Sundays through Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Experience in stock control, deliveries and banking monies.
• Excellent staff supervision and organisational skills.
• Flexible to work Monday to Sunday hours.
• Experience in food retail is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage stock control: ordering, deliveries, banking.
• Be a hands-on manager and lead by example.
• Operate the till per company procedures.
• Provide the highest standard of customer service.
• Keep shelves well filled, faced and priced correctly.
• Rotate stock and remove items past use-by dates; highlight issues to management.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness and safety.
• Observe company rules at all times.
• Ensure staff cooperation for smooth store operation.
