Job summary

Asda Stores Ltd in Minworth is hiring an Ambient Manager to oversee the Ambient department, ensuring top service, stock availability and safe, compliant operations. This permanent full-time role requires leading a 45-hour week and driving high standards across the shop floor.

You will lead a team, manage availability, waste and shrink, and implement actionable improvements to maximise basket value while delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Qualifications

Experience as Team Leader or Supervisor in a retail environment.
Operational knowledge in food or non-food departments.
Knowledge of improving availability, reducing waste, and managing shrink.
Experience developing teams and leading change with resilience.
Strong organisational skills and customer service excellence.

Responsibilities

Lead the Ambient department to deliver best availability and floor standards.
Drive the shrink agenda and ensure compliance with store policies.
Plan and execute trading activity on the shop floor to meet KPIs and briefs.
Coach and develop the Ambient team, creating a culture of service and accountability.
