Asda Wisbech is seeking an Ambient Manager to lead the ambient department, ensuring top availability and shop floor standards while maintaining safety and compliance. You will drive shrink reduction and team performance on a day‑to‑day basis.

Ideal candidates have retail team leadership experience, knowledge of food/non‑food availability, and a passion for coaching and development. This is a full‑time UK store role with a comprehensive range of employee benefits.

Qualifications

Experience as Team Leader or Supervisor in a retail environment.
Operational knowledge on food or non-food departments.
Knowledge of improving availability, reducing waste, and managing shrink.
Experience developing teams and managing change through leadership and building resilience.
Strong organisational skills and great customer service.

Responsibilities

Lead ambient department to deliver best availability and highest shop floor standards through brilliant execution while ensuring the store is safe and legal for customers and colleagues.
Drive shrink agenda through your Ambient team, identifying opportunities and implementing clear actions.
Plan and execute trading activity on the shopfloor to achieve key metrics and KRAs.
Coach and engage the team to improve routines and processes, fostering a customer‑focused culture.
