Job summary

Asda Stores Ltd in Ashington is seeking an Ambient Manager to lead the Ambient department at 45 hours per week, on a permanent basis. You will drive availability, shop floor standards and safe operating practices to deliver excellent customer service.

You’ll lead, develop and coach your team, monitor key metrics, and implement changes to reduce waste and shrink while ensuring compliance with store policies.

Qualifications

• Experience as Team Leader or Supervisor in a retail environment.
• Knowledge of improving availability, reducing waste, and managing shrink.
• Experience developing teams and managing change through leadership.
• Strong organisational skills and great customer service.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Ambient department day-to-day to deliver best availability and high shop floor standards through excellent execution.
• Drive the shrink agenda through your Ambient team and act on opportunities with clear actions.
• Plan and execute trading activity on the shopfloor to deliver availability, metrics and KRAs.
