Job description

About the role

In your role as Alternative Operations Associate you will make a meaningful and valued contribution from the outset. This role will provide a great opportunity to provide exposure to our end-to-end processes which support both existing and new alternative assets, working closely with the front office team and other support areas.

What you will be doing

As a trusted part of the Operations you will be responsible for:

  • Support new deal implementation, working with internal teams and third parties to deliver operational readiness
  • Manage cash settlements, asset setup, FX transactions, and reconciliation processes with minimal errors
  • Collaborate across Risk, Legal, Compliance, Performance, and Finance teams as needed
  • Oversee reporting activities, including incident logging, data delivery, and presentation preparation
  • Maintain and develop relationships with key third-party providers such as Aztec and JPM
  • Proactively seek training opportunities and contribute to continuous improvement
  • Build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships to deliver scalable, controlled solutions

About you

To be successful in the role you will have:

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with 1–3 years post-qualification experience
  • Experience in deal implementation, with awareness of operational and finance elements
  • Background in alternative investments and exposure to private markets preferred
  • Strong Excel skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Proven ability to work independently, solve problems, and deliver projects
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
  • Strong initiative and ability to work across asset classes (property, private equity, private credit)
