As part of a leading asset manager with over $2.8 trillion in assets, you will participate in exciting investment opportunities and collaborate with talented colleagues across asset classes and regions. Our culture values integrity and transparency, and we are committed to diversity and building sustainable success. Goldman Sachs Asset Management combines traditional and alternative investments, providing clients with dedicated partnerships focused on long-term performance. We serve pension plans, sovereign wealth funds, insurance companies, endowments, foundations, financial advisors, and individuals, offering innovative investment solutions tailored to meet their financial goals. We work globally with client coverage and product teams to navigate changing markets and make informed investments. We value self-starters with an entrepreneurial spirit, supported by resources to ensure your success.

Your Impact
Goldman Sachs Asset Management seeks a professional eager to deepen their understanding of financial markets, focusing on Offshore Funds. In this role, you will engage with Mutual Funds, Private Equity, and ETFs, working closely with Portfolio Management, Product Development, sales channels, and operational teams. Your key responsibilities include ensuring accurate and timely execution of Fund launch and change events, project managing fund activities, stakeholder management, prioritization, and effective communication across organizational levels.

Our Impact
Goldman Sachs Asset Management is a pre-eminent global investment organization. Success depends on leveraging a talented global team to define solutions and lead operational change.

Goldman Sachs Asset Management Operations
Part of the Asset & Wealth Management Division, comprising about 500 professionals across five centers worldwide, including London, The Hague, Tokyo, Singapore, China, and New York. The division includes Client Operations, Investment Operations, and Management & Shared Services, all committed to control, client service, and excellence in execution.

The Fund Services Team
Located within Management & Shared Services, responsible for:
o Facilitating new business and product expansion via project management of new fund launches.
o Maintaining platforms through fund mergers, terminations, restructures, and regulatory uplifts.
o Supporting fund onboarding, consolidation, and restructuring.

The team interacts closely with external service providers (Custodians, Fund Administrators) and internal teams involved in fund design, setup, operation, and oversight. The role offers diverse interactions and project involvement, covering a wide range of fund types, including Luxembourg SICAVs, Money Market Funds, ETFs, and complex private equity structures.

How You Will Fulfil Your Potential

  • Contribute to product expansion by managing fund launch and change events for Luxembourg, Ireland, and Cayman domiciled funds.
  • Develop strong relationships with Portfolio Management, Product Development, Operations, external vendors, and Federation teams to align on product design and support models.
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of Asset Management and its investment products.
  • Manage and execute fund change events, including setting expectations, coordinating workflows, resolving challenges, facilitating system setups, drafting trade flows, and ensuring compliance with registration requirements.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, with relevant industry experience.
  • 2-4 years of experience in Asset Management, particularly with Offshore Fund Events.
  • Strong knowledge of Offshore Funds administration and compliance standards.
  • Team player with leadership qualities to resolve complex issues.
  • Ability to make autonomous decisions and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and strategic vision.
  • Excellent relationship-building, organizational, communication, and time management skills.
