TeacherActive is recruiting an SEN Teaching Assistant for a mainstream school in Cardiff, to support pupils within its SRB base. The role is long-term and full-time, with duties including supporting learning, engagement and individual needs alongside teaching staff.

The successful candidate will have experience with SEN, be patient and a team player, and fit into a supportive school environment that values safeguarding and inclusion.

Qualifications

The school is looking to take on an SEN Teaching Assistant on a long-term, full-time basis, working within the school’s SRB base. The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will support pupils with their learning, engagement and individual needs, working closely with teaching staff to provide consistent classroom support.

The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience supporting children or young people with additional learning needs
• Experience working within a school, SRB or similar educational setting
• A patient and resilient approach
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
• A positive and adaptable attitude
