Job summary

First Call Contract Services at Heathrow Airport is seeking an Allocator (T2P) to join the aviation operations team. This temp-to-perm role requires coordinating staff deployments to flights and work areas, with a 4-on/2-off roster and early morning shifts from 05:00 to 13:30 and 13:30 to 22:00.

You will monitor real-time needs, update deployment records, and communicate with duty managers, ensuring health and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in aviation scheduling or rostering.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and decision-making under pressure.
• Reliable, proactive, and detail-oriented.
• Proficient with IT systems and scheduling software (training provided).
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Allocate staff to flights, tasks, and areas based on skills, availability, and workload.
• Monitor real-time operational requirements and adjust deployments as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of team deployment, shift changes, and task completion.
• Communicate effectively with Duty Managers, Supervisors, and operational teams throughout each shift.
• Use scheduling systems, allocation tools, and radios to manage workflow efficiently.
• Support operational disruptions, delays, or escalations by reallocating resources promptly.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety requirements, working time regulations, and site procedures.
• Report staffing shortages, attendance concerns, and operational risks in a timely manner.
