Job summary

ABM UK at London Heathrow Airport is seeking a Staff Support Manager to deliver daily resource plans and ensure optimal deployment of personnel across terminals. You will act as the operational bridge between planning and on-the-day execution to deliver exceptional passenger assistance services (PRS).

You will lead a team, manage attendance, update rosters, and optimise floor plans while maintaining company standards and safety requirements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven people management experience in a large operational workforce.
• Experience in fast-paced, public-facing or events environments such as aviation.
• Strong IT proficiency, especially Excel and workforce management software.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operational floor plans across Heathrow terminals to match flight volumes.
• Monitor live operations and adjust staffing to maintain service levels.
• Ensure SLAs are met and brand professionalism is maintained on shift.
• Oversee attendance, annual leave, and floor plan updates with robust controls.
• Line-manage Staff Support Agents and Payroll Coordinators for efficiency.
• Update time and attendance in real time and manage overtime and shifts.
• Maintain accurate records of hours and roster changes per regulations.
