Job summary

Confidential in Southampton seeks an Air Export Operations Coordinator to join a fast-paced international team. You will manage shipments from booking through departure, coordinating airline bookings and routing while ensuring accurate export documentation and strict compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities include monitoring progress, handling special cargo, and providing timely updates to customers and overseas agents to uphold high service levels.

Qualifications

• Experience in Air Export Operations or Freight Forwarding.
• Strong knowledge of export documentation.
• Excellent organisation with ability to manage multiple shipments.

Responsibilities

• Manage air export shipments from booking through to departure.
• Coordinate airline bookings and routing.
• Prepare and process export documentation (HAWB, MAWB, customs, invoices, packing lists).
• Ensure compliance with customs, airline requirements and international trade standards.
• Monitor shipment progress and resolve issues.
• Arrange collections/deliveries with transport partners.
• Provide updates to customers and overseas agents.
• Ensure cargo is manifested and customs-cleared ahead of departure.
• Handle special cargos (temperature-controlled, DG, time-critical).
• Build relationships with customers and meet KPIs.
• Support quotations and respond to inquiries.
