Job summary

Ser- is recruiting a Technical Sales Engineer to cover Greater Manchester in a hybrid role. You will generate new business by selling AC service and maintenance contracts alongside installation and refurbishment projects.

You will build relationships with end users and M&E contractors, conduct site surveys, and prepare quotations, applying strong knowledge of commercial AC systems including VRF/VRV. Car allowance, pension, and progression opportunities are on offer.

Qualifications

• Experience in AC technical sales, business development or service sales.
• Strong technical understanding of commercial AC systems including splits, multi-splits and VRF/VRV.
• Ideally a background as an Air Conditioning Engineer who has progressed into sales.
• Experience selling service and maintenance contracts or AC projects.
• Knowledge of Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric and Toshiba equipment.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business through selling AC service and maintenance contracts alongside new installation and refurbishment projects.
• Develop relationships with commercial end users, facilities managers and M&E contractors to generate new service, maintenance and project opportunities.
• Identify opportunities for smaller AC installation, replacement and refurbishment projects.
• Manage and develop a portfolio of existing customer accounts.
• Conduct site surveys, understand technical requirements and prepare quotations.
