Job summary

Pertemps is recruiting an experienced Air Conditioning & Chiller Engineer to join its expanding engineering division. This is a mobile role servicing commercial sites across the North and Midlands, with a focus on AC, chillers and HVAC systems.

You will service, fault-find and repair equipment, undertake installations for in-house projects, and travel efficiently between sites. A company van (with personal use), laptop/tablet, uniform and generous holiday accrual accompany a structured

• Fully qualified Air Conditioning / Refrigeration Engineer.
• Proven experience within commercial AC and chiller environments.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic ability.
• Able to work independently and manage workload effectively.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

• Service, maintain, fault find, and repair a wide range of HVAC and cooling equipment across commercial sites.
• Installation work for in-house projects as the business grows its projects division.

Job description

We are looking to recruit an experienced Air Conditioning & Chiller Engineer to join our growing engineering division.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled mobile engineer with strong experience across air conditioning, chillers, and HVAC systems. The role will suit someone who is technically strong, self-motivated, and confident working independently across a range of commercial sites.

The Role

You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, fault finding, and repairing a wide range of HVAC and cooling equipment across commercial client sites.

The position will also involve installation work, as the business continues to grow its in-house projects division and reduce reliance on subcontractors.

Equipment & Systems

• - Air conditioning systems
• - VRV / VRF systems
• - Split and multi-split systems
• - AHUs and associated HVAC plant
• - Controls and electrical fault finding (desirable)

Experience carrying out installation works is essential, including:

• - Single split systems
• - Multi-split systems
• - VRV / VRF installations
• - Pipework and control systems

This is a mobile role covering commercial sites primarily across the North and Midlands.

Most work is concentrated along the M62 corridor, including:

• - Sheffield
• - Midlands and surrounding areas

Engineers are generally kept within reasonable travelling distance where possible.
