Job summary

Janus Henderson Investors is seeking a hands-on security engineer to secure AI-enabled applications, models, agents, and platforms across their lifecycle. You will advise on AI security standards and guardrails, balancing risk with velocity within Information Security and AI Technology.

The role focuses on Nexus, Accio, and Copilot security, with threat modelling, secure-by-design patterns, and CI/CD integration to reduce risk while enabling enterprise AI adoption.

Qualifications

• Hands-on security engineering with a deep understanding of AI security.
• Experience leading threat modelling, architecture reviews, and risk assessments.
• Solid grasp of security engineering fundamentals and modern AI threat surfaces.
• Experience securing AI agents, model gateways, and enterprise platforms.
• Cloud security depth, especially Azure, with IAM, secrets management and RBAC.

Responsibilities

• Act as security design authority for AI systems, leading threat modelling, architecture review, and risk assessment.
• Define and evolve AI security standards, guardrails, and secure-by-design patterns.
• Design identity, entitlement, and secrets patterns for non-human identities across multi-hop requests.
• Set trust boundaries and data-egress controls for AI estate and external model providers.
• Run adversarial testing, build detections, and integrate security into CI/CD and risk management.
