Job summary

Janus Henderson Investors is seeking a hands-on Security Engineer specializing in AI security to safeguard AI-enabled applications, models, agents, and platform components across their lifecycle. You will act as a trusted advisor, shaping security standards, patterns, and guardrails while balancing risk with rapid enterprise AI delivery.

You will collaborate with AI Technology and Infosec, secure Nexus/NPC environments, and drive secure-by-design practices.

Qualifications

• Strong cybersecurity engineering background with hands-on production protections.
• Experience securing GenAI, LLM, agents, and AI-enabled platforms.
• Proven ability to lead threat modelling, architecture reviews, and risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Act as security design authority for AI systems, leading threat modelling and risk assessment.
• Define evolving AI security standards, guardrails, and secure-by-design patterns.
• Design identity, entitlement, and secrets patterns for non-human identities across multi-hop requests.
• Set trust boundaries and data egress controls for AI estate and external model providers.
