Janus Henderson Investors is undertaking a firm-wide AI transformation. You will engineer governance controls within Nexus and Accio, translating risk requirements into secure, scalable platform features.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Risk, Infosec, and Legal to implement policy as code and evidence-driven controls. We seek an engineer who can operate across domains, delivering auditable, low-risk deployments while maintaining strong ownership and governance discipline.

Qualifications

• At least six years in software, platform, or security engineering and production experience.
• Strong Python and SQL, with hands‑on APIs, IaC, and CI/CD.
• Deep knowledge of identity, access, and least-privilege patterns across systems.

Responsibilities

• Build governance into the platform, turning risk decisions into reusable controls and templates.
• Design and implement identity, authentication, and permission patterns across agents, models, and tools.
• Create telemetry, evidence, and evaluation layers to support audit and assurance needs.
• Collaborate with Risk, Infosec, Legal, and Privacy to translate domain requirements into technical design.
