Job summary
SSE plc is seeking a Design Lead – AI Ops to steer the evolution of AI-powered operational capabilities across the ServiceNow platform. You will partner with product owners, architects and engineers to embed automation, predictive operations and secure, scalable digital services across SSE's enterprise.
In this role you will define operating models, set standards, and drive cross-functional collaboration to deliver AI-based solutions.
Qualifications
- Proven experience delivering AI/automation solutions in enterprise settings.
- Strong IT operations, cloud, observability and service management knowledge.
- Ability translate business needs into technical designs for senior stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and leadership across technical and non-technical teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead design and implementation of AI Ops capabilities across SSE’s technology estate.
- Define target operating models and best practices for AI-driven operations.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, data specialists and stakeholders to deliver AI solutions.
- Ensure AI platforms are secure, compliant and resilient.
- Drive automation and predictive analytics to improve operations.
- Provide technical leadership to internal teams and partners.
