Job summary

Fireworks AI is seeking an experienced Field Engineer to work with enterprise customers, embedding with engineering teams to turn complex AI problems into production systems. You will ship code, run benchmarks, and architect deployments while engaging executives on architecture and business outcomes.

You’ll spend time on-site with customers, lead discovery conversations, and translate pain points into product improvements that accelerate the roadmap.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a hands-on, customer-facing technical role.
• Demonstrated ability to build production software with customers.

Responsibilities

• Build end-to-end POCs and MVPs with customer engineering teams.
• Architect inference foundations for GenAI deployments and scale them.
• Run load tests, establish latency and cost baselines, and tune deployments.
• Deploy and validate new model families on inference frameworks.
• Lead discovery conversations and translate pain points into product improvements.
