Job summary

Get Recruited (UK) Ltd is recruiting a Technical Sales Manager for our Staffordshire/Midlands area. The role combines new business development, account growth and active customer-site visits to deliver engineered material handling solutions.

You will work with in-house design/manufacturing teams and leverage AI tools to enhance prospecting, research and sales productivity, driving orders from initial contact through to close.

Qualifications

• A proven track record in B2B technical or industrial sales.
• Experience selling material handling systems, industrial equipment or engineering solutions.
• Experience using AI tools or systems in a professional role, with the ability to explain how they supported your work.
• Interest in applying AI to prospecting, customer research and sales productivity.
• Success across the full sales process, from prospecting and site visits to negotiation and closing.
• Confidence working with engineers, procurement teams and senior decision-makers.
• A proactive approach to winning business and developing existing accounts.

Responsibilities

• Identify and win new business across manufacturing and industrial markets.
• Visit customer sites to understand storage, transport and material handling challenges.
• Grow existing accounts and reconnect with dormant customers.
• Work closely with Design and Estimating to develop solutions and competitive quotations.
• Follow up proposals, negotiate terms and convert enquiries into profitable orders.
• Use AI tools to support customer research, identify opportunities and improve sales efficiency.
• Help develop the use of AI within the company's sales process.
• Maintain an accurate pipeline and build long-term customer relationships.
