Job summary

Hook is seeking a Technical Implementation Consultant to lead customer onboarding from kickoff to go-live, ensuring every team delivers to the highest standard. You’ll work at the intersection of data, AI, and customer success, translating complex needs into actionable configurations and valuable insights, with a focus on rapid, high-quality implementations across our SaaS platform.

You will collaborate with data science and engineering, shaping data for ML models and delivering measurable value

Qualifications

• Strong SQL skills with complex joins, subqueries, window functions, and aggregations.
• Experience in data consulting, implementation, or customer engineering roles at a data-driven SaaS company.
• Curiosity and enthusiasm for data, AI, machine learning, and cloud platforms.
• Proven ability to manage multiple implementations in parallel, with tight timelines.
• Detail-driven mindset for complex datasets and spotting anomalies.

Responsibilities

• Own the full implementation lifecycle from kickoff to go-live and guide customers through onboarding.
• Act as a technical consultant, mapping goals and delivering Hook configurations that maximise business value.
• Shape data powering Hook’s ML models and collaborate with data science to improve model performance.
• Run projects with precision, staying highly organized and prioritising tasks.
• Meet 28-day implementation timelines, balancing speed with quality in every rollout.
• Provide expert guidance on renewal forecasting, time management and process automation.
• Collaborate with engineering to query, clean, and analyse customer datasets with SQL.
• Capture feedback and influence product roadmap.
• Support pre-sales engagements by demonstrating Hook’s technical capabilities.
