Job summary

The Citation Group is hiring an AI Architect to own the AI/data architecture pattern and decision framework. You will sit in the AI/Data area, reporting to the Chief AI Officer, and work across delivery teams to ensure architectural coherence and defensible choices.

Responsibilities include defining standards, evaluating model choices, and governing data readiness while maintaining security and compliance in a fast-moving AI environment.

Qualifications

• Senior — 6+ years in software, data, or platform engineering/architecture with hands-on production AI experience.
• Ability to own architectural standards across AI/data domains and collaborate with delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Own AI architecture standards and patterns for the AI/data area.
• Develop an evidence-based framework for model selection and cost governance.
• Assess data architecture readiness across systems like Salesforce and Atlas.
• Define production quality, observability, and incident response for AI systems.
• Attend design conversations early and sign off on AI design elements of partner SOWs.
